Authorities in Grimes County, Texas are currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place in the Plantersville community. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning and has prompted a collaborative effort between the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, Grimes County District Attorney’s Office, Texas Rangers, and the Montgomery County Crime Scene Unit.
According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred on Foxfire Dr. at around 1 a.m. Law enforcement officials have already identified a person of interest who is cooperating with the investigation.
