RJD national President Lalu Prasad Yadav has expressed his solidarity with Tamil Nadu Minister Senthil Balaji and criticized the BJP-led Centre over his recent arrest. Lalu referred to it as a clear example of vendetta politics and said that such instances will continue up until the 2024 general elections.
Lalu’s son and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also commented on the situation, saying that this type of raid will continue, and it may even be possible that he may get charge sheeted in a case. He added that the CBI and ED have raided his premises multiple times, yet they have found nothing. He claims that he would become even stronger from these raids and that they should conduct more.
The planned opposition meet in Patna on June 23rd seems to be looming over the situation, which has added to the tension. The Yadav family seems to be gearing up for more confrontations with the central government.
