Prabhas-starrer Adipurush is all set to hit the box office this Friday with trade experts predicting it to do a business of over Rs 80 crore on its opening day. The big-budget multilingual film, which is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 500 crore, has opened its advanced booking for this weekend, and theatre owners say the response has been beyond expectations. Gautam Dutta, PVR INOX Limited co-CEO, predicts that the film could earn close to Rs 200 crore over the weekend. The hype for Adipurush is being compared to the pre-release buzz around Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan and is expected to attract audiences across age groups. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage and Saif Ali Khan and will release in 3D format globally. Adipurush is a modern-day retelling of the epic Ramayana.
