First Filipino Film, Blue Room, Takes Home Best Foreign Film Award at LA Femme Film Festival
In a groundbreaking achievement for the Filipino film industry, the critically acclaimed movie Blue Room has been honored with the Best Foreign Film award at the 19th edition of the esteemed La Femme International Film Festival (LAFIFF) in Los Angeles. However, after a celebratory night at a local bar, the band members find themselves facing drug possession charges. Instead of undergoing the usual legal procedures, they are abruptly taken to the Blue Room, a VIP detention area notorious for corrupt officials who accept bribes. Faced with a difficult decision, the band must choose between utilizing their privilege to evade consequences or confronting the values they had been advocating for.
The film stars an impressive cast including juan karlos, Harvey Bautista, Nourijune, Keoni Jin, Elijah Canlas, Soliman Cruz, Bombi Plata, Jericho Arceo, Bon Lentejas, and Richard Cepeda.
