Elderly Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Palm Beach County
A tragic incident occurred in Palm Beach County, Florida, where a 75-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced that William Arthur Redman, a resident of the area, passed away two days after the accident.
The crash took place on Thursday at approximately 10:17 p.m. on Michaelangelo Boulevard, just west of Delray Beach. According to the crash report, a 93-year-old woman from the same neighborhood was driving a 2006 Honda Accord northbound on Michaelangelo Boulevard at the time of the incident.
As the Honda continued its journey, it collided with Redman, who was either walking or standing within the roadway or shoulder. The impact occurred when the front right side of the vehicle hit him. Immediately following the accident, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue rushed to the scene and transported Redman to Delray Medical Center for medical attention.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical professionals, Redman’s injuries proved fatal, and he passed away on Saturday, two days after the collision, as confirmed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
