Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department, recently chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat to discuss the sponsorship of projects under NABARD funding. Dulloo reviewed various ongoing projects under NABARD in different departments and assessed the progress achieved so far. These discussions primarily concerned projects in the agriculture and allied sectors, as well as SKUAST Jammu and Kashmir.

Furthermore, the ACS reviewed the status of sponsorship of projects to NABARD for 2023-24. Dulloo emphasized the importance of taking timely action and urged the CGM NABARD to prepare a final list of projects and submit it to the finance department as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the ACS approved several projects to be undertaken in the Union Territory under NABARD. Dulloo also took stock of the identification of new projects that will be submitted to the Finance Department.

In a separate meeting, Dulloo discussed the implementation of e-NAM (National Agriculture Market) in the Union Territory. He assessed the status of the registration of farmers, traders, and commission agents during discussions with the concerned officers.

It is essential to note that the funding from NABARD is key to many projects in various sectors across India. In the past, such funding has been utilized to promote sustainable agricultural development in the country. Additionally, it has helped farmers achieve higher productivity and yields, as well as improved market access. In conclusion, these meetings chaired by ACS Dulloo demonstrate the government’s commitment to continued growth and progress in the agricultural sector.
