USA Basketball’s Star-Studded Lineup Set for Paris Olympics
Kevin Durant and several other big NBA names have confirmed their plans to represent the United States in the Paris Olympics next summer. Durant, who already has three basketball gold medals, would become the first men’s player to achieve four gold medals if the United States wins again.
Durant’s commitment was echoed by other players at media day events around the league. Bam Adebayo, DeMar DeRozan, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Jaylen Brown, Donovan Mitchell, Khris Middleton, Julius Randle, Zach LaVine, Aaron Gordon, Fred VanVleet, and Brook Lopez all indicated their willingness to play if selected. Kyrie Irving and Draymond Green expressed their desire to participate as well.
