This prestigious long-distance balloon race, which draws participants and spectators from around the world, will take place at the 2023 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
The 66th Coupe Aeronautique Gordon Bennett is unique in that it relies on gas balloons filled with hydrogen, rather than traditional hot air balloons. To supply the 1,500 kilograms of hydrogen required for the gas balloons, BayoTech will deploy four HyFill™ high-pressure gas transport trailers. These trailers, designed and manufactured by BayoTech, will be provided by its customer, Iwatani Corporation of America.
