In a thrilling encounter at Hedrick Field on Friday night, the Franklin Lions extended their winning streak to an impressive 38 games with a 25-15 victory over the Rockdale Tigers. The Lions had to work hard for their win as Rockdale pushed them to their limits in an intense battle.

Blayden Barcak connected with Saywer Calk for a spectacular 96-yard touchdown pass, and Barcak himself added a 24-yard rushing touchdown. Barcak was a standout performer for Rockdale, throwing for 300 yards and completing 15 of 29 passes, although he did throw two interceptions. He also contributed 42 yards on the ground.
