Seventeen individuals are set to face a total of 32 charges as they appear before the Dublin District Courts today. The group comprises 15 men and two women, with ages ranging from 17 to 65 years old. The charges include offenses such as burglary, assault, violent disorder, criminal damage, and serious assault.
To combat criminal conduct that has been affecting communities in the region, the Northern Division of the Dublin Metropolitan Region police force conducted a highly visible policing operation throughout September. Coordinated investigations, the targeting of repeat offenders, and proactive and visible patrols were all part of the operation, which was supported by Forensic Science Ireland.
Investigations into the alleged offenses are still ongoing.
