ZS, the global management consulting and technology company, has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India for the third consecutive year. This prestigious accolade comes from the 2023 edition of the study conducted by Avtar & Seramount, which assessed 354 companies from various industries and geographical locations.

ZS stood out in this study as an Exemplar of Inclusion, a title that acknowledges the company’s efforts in creating an equitable and inclusive workspace. The recognition extends beyond gender balance and encompasses a wide range of diversity, including disability, LGBTQ+ communities, different generations, and regional backgrounds.

To be eligible for the study, companies needed to have at least 500 employees in India and provide detailed data on their gender inclusion policies, programs, and practices. The results of this year’s study revealed a significant increase in gender diversity, with women now accounting for an average of 36.9% of the workforce across the top 100 companies. This marks a substantial rise from the 25% recorded in 2016.

The top 10 companies, including ZS, reported an impressive representation of women at 41.7% in 2023, signaling a promising trajectory towards achieving gender balance by 2030. This progress is a testament to ZS’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Mohit Sood, the regional managing principal at ZS, expressed gratitude and honor at being recognized as one of the top companies for women in India for the third consecutive year. He emphasized that ZS is dedicated to progress and will continue to build an inclusive environment where all employees feel a deep sense of belonging and are empowered to thrive.

ZS values the diverse identities, experiences, and belief systems that make up its workforce, recognizing the importance of both visible and invisible facets of individuality. The company aligns its initiatives and policies with core values that prioritize treating people right, achieving excellence, and upholding integrity.

Founded in 1983, ZS leverages advanced analytics, data science, and innovative products to help clients make informed decisions and deliver solutions across various sectors, especially in healthcare.

With its consistent recognition as one of the best companies for women in India, ZS reaffirms its dedication to advancing gender equality and inclusion in the workplace. As the company continues to grow and diversify its workforce, it remains focused on promoting equity and ensuring that all employees are heard, respected, and provided with opportunities to thrive.
