Dakota Hotels is spicing up Negroni Week with a selection of floral cocktails infused with a local touch. In collaboration with Campari, the hotel group’s bar teams at their five UK locations have crafted unique negronis that showcase the flavors and essence of each region. From Glasgow to Edinburgh and Eurocentral, each cocktail is designed to delight patrons and raise money for charitable causes around the world.

The team at Dakota Eurocentral has created Prima, a delightful blend of Campari, peach liqueur, and blossom water. With its floral and fruity notes, this cocktail celebrates the first Dakota Hotel, opened in 2006. Meanwhile, Dakota Edinburgh offers the Queen of the South negroni, featuring Edinburgh Gin, Limoncello, and vanilla syrup, garnished with Campari dust. The Edinburgh bar team recommends enjoying this cocktail with the array of fresh catch options available in South Queensferry.

Dakota Glasgow’s contribution is the Killing Thyme negroni, which combines Campari with orange bitters, Tanqueray Seville, Lillet, and Italicus for a refreshingly fruity experience. Inspired by the local band The Zebecks and their new single, ‘Killing Time,’ this cocktail adds a distinct local flair to the mix.

Not to be left behind, the teams at Dakota in Leeds have also crafted two unique negronis to celebrate the occasion. With this collaborative effort, the entire collection reflects the diverse flavors and personalities of each hotel location.

This year’s Negroni Week is in support of Slow Food, a global movement that seeks to make a positive impact on the world through food and beverage. As patrons enjoy these delicious cocktails, they are also contributing to charitable causes supported by Slow Food across more than 160 countries.

The partnership between Dakota Hotels and Campari showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of the hotel group’s bar teams across the UK. By infusing floral and local elements into their negronis, they have taken this classic cocktail to new heights. Visitors can indulge in these delightful libations while supporting a worthy cause during Negroni Week.
