Man Arrested in Connection with Robbery of Teen Boy in St. Catharines
Niagara police have apprehended a suspect believed to be involved in a robbery targeting a teenage boy in St. Catharines on July 17. The incident, which occurred without the use of weapons and resulted in no injuries, saw the victim threatened and his belongings demanded.
The suspect swiftly fled the scene, making off with the victim’s BMX bike, iPhone, and t-shirt. Fortunately, the police were able to identify and capture the individual allegedly responsible for this crime. Dario Thomas Angelo, a 28-year-old resident of St. Catharines, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the robbery. He has since been charged with one count of robbery and was remanded into custody.
