Eleven startups have been announced as finalists for Alabama Launchpad Cycle 2 2023, with $75,000 in funding available for the winners. This program is aimed at supporting ventures in the concept stage for pre-revenue startups, and for businesses that are looking to boost their growth in the early seed stage. Participants will benefit from the expert mentorship of business experts and leaders, building a sustainable innovation and job creation pipeline across the state of Alabama, which already includes 114 funded startups, producing over 1,300 jobs and $6.1m in funding.
The five companies at the concept stage will be competing for $25,000, while the six at the early seed stage are aiming to win $50,000. Participants will present their innovative solutions in a pitching process at Auburn Universityβs The Park on August 17.
