Tragic Crash Claims 20 Lives as Cargo Truck Collides with Passenger Vehicle on National Highway
At least 20 individuals lost their lives in a devastating accident that occurred on Sunday night. The crash involved a cargo truck and a semi-collective passenger transport vehicle known as a ‘Chapa’. The incident took place on National Highway Number Seven (N7), in Catandica, the district headquarters of Báruè, in Manica province.

The truck made this maneuver to avoid the smoke emanating from an uncontrolled fire. The ill-fated ‘Chapa’ was en route from Chimoio to the Guro district, while the cargo truck was heading in the opposite direction.
