Full-service airline Vistara is experiencing a shortage of cabin crew uniforms due to disruptions in its supply chain. The airline is currently expanding both its fleet and staff, and has stated that it is working actively with suppliers to resolve the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, some of its cabin crew will be wearing black-coloured uniforms as a temporary solution. The airline has tweeted that, due to an unforeseen issue with the supply of material, it is experiencing limited availability of cabin crew uniforms. It added that it expects to add a total of 10 planes and hire more than 1,000 people in the current financial year. The airline is a joint venture between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines and is to be merged with Air India.
