OpenAI also took customer concerns related to security and privacy into account. To address these worries, the company assured that customer data will not be used to train AI models. Instead, the models are trained on user-provided written prompts from ChatGPT’s online and mobile platforms, with personally identifiable information automatically filtered out. Notably, OpenAI does not train their AI models using data transmitted via their API.
Among the concerns raised by businesses regarding large language models like ChatGPT is the potential for fabrications. However, Lightcap stated that GPT-4, which was unveiled in March, is less prone to generating misleading results when compared to its predecessor.
