Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed his pride and happiness at the state being able to host the national program on the occasion of International Yoga Day. The preparations for the event to be held in Jabalpur on June 21 have already begun and the Chief Minister, along with the Union Minister for AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal, visited the site to review the arrangements. A number of organizations, including the Shri Ramchandra Mission Heartfulness Institute, the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, and the Yoga Commission, will collaborate with the Union Ministry of AYUSH to make the program a success. Yoga enthusiasts will be connected to the positive energy of the discipline, and the program’s theme of Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam will be upheld. The Union Minister stated that their goal is for 25 crore people to be connected to the event and that widespread endeavors to make Yoga an integral part of human life are underway nationwide. Yoga experts from organizations such as Patanjali Yogpeeth and the Art of Living are also expected to participate.
