Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP TRANSCO) has completed the commissioning of a 220 K.V. Substation, Chapra (Dewas) for Narmada Valley Development Authority. This new project includes the installation of four feeder bays, which have been prepared and energized. Farmers in the area will reap unprecedented benefits from the Kshipra and Kali Sindh rivers projects in Bagli tehsil of Dewas district. According to the Energy Minister, Mr. Pradyuman Singh Tomar, four pumping stations of the micro lift irrigation system have been supplied with this new power source.
The Energy Minister congratulated the officers and employees involved in the construction of this new line and feeder bay for the micro lift irrigation system. He said MP Transco should focus on completing its work on time and continue participating in the progress of the nation.
The Superintending Engineer of MP Transco stated that the company’s highest priority is to work on ambitious projects like water supply and irrigation. With this project, the company has supplied power through the newly constructed feeder to ensure electricity at the 132 KV voltage level.
The commissioning of these feeder bays will change the lives of farmers in the area and provide a more reliable source of power to four pumping stations for the micro lift irrigation system. MP Transco will contribute to the progress of the nation by working on ambitious projects like this to ensure consistent water and power supply.
