An air bridge has been established between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to facilitate the annual Hajj pilgrimage for Kuwaiti pilgrims. According to the Acting Director of the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation, Imad Al-Jalawi, about 8,000 pilgrims from Kuwait will be flown to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage, with the national carriers Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways transporting 4,000 pilgrims and Saudi air carrier Adele flying the remaining 4,000.

Kuwait International Airport agencies are preparing for the pilgrimage flights to the Holy House of God, with an integrated plan in place to organize Hajj flights in cooperation with relevant authorities. The plan includes measures to facilitate the movement of pilgrims from the moment they arrive at the airport until they board the plane. The operating system has been confirmed and procedures have been eased to facilitate the pilgrims, with increased counters and guidance teams set up around the clock.

Kuwait Airways flights will be operated from the T4 terminal, Al-Jazeera flights from the T5, and Adele flights from the T1. The concerned authority must coordinate with the airline to complete procedures for weighing baggage and issuing boarding passes according to the times specified by the companies. There will also be special counters through which campaign representatives will distribute boarding passes for pilgrims, who are requested to complete their travel formalities at least an hour before their departure time.

The Hajj season will also include 1,000 seats allocated to Bedoun residents of Kuwait, based on the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to provide seats for illegal residents. The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs will coordinate with the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs to facilitate the necessary procedures. The ministry is keen to facilitate Hajj procedures for Bedoun residents, with the opportunity for those wanting to perform Hajj in the upcoming season to register.
