STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Stone Mountain Park is set to host the 55th annual Yellow Daisy Festival, renowned as America’s premier arts and crafts show. Taking place from September 7-10, this highly anticipated event will showcase the works of over 400 talented artists from across the United States.

The festival has garnered recognition as one of the nation’s top arts and crafts shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine and has been named a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event. It has also received numerous accolades from the Southeast Festival and Events Association. Drawing multi-generational shoppers, the Yellow Daisy Festival has become a beloved tradition for those seeking unique, handcrafted art.

This year’s festival boasts an exciting addition: the return of the Yellow Daisy Vintage Village. Situated within the lower meadow of the festival, this curated village will feature vendors showcasing antiques, vintage collectibles, farmhouse chic home goods, furniture, and décor.

The festival derives its name from the remarkable Viguiera Porteri, a special yellow daisy that blooms exclusively within a 60-mile radius of Stone Mountain in September. Known for its vibrant yellow bands that adorn the mountain’s granite outcroppings, this unique flower was first discovered in 1846.

What initially began as a modest event in two picnic pavilions has now evolved into the Southeast’s largest outdoor arts and crafts festival, spanning over six acres of space filled with art, crafts, music, and delectable food.

Artists and crafters participating in the festival are meticulously selected by a jury based on their exceptional handmade work in diverse categories such as pottery, fabric, painting, jewelry, sculpture, fiber, photography, fine arts, and traditional arts and crafts.

Throughout the four-day event, visitors can indulge in live entertainment on the main stage featuring an array of music genres, including Rock, Bluegrass, Pop, R&B, Country, Gospel, and DJ sets. For those looking to unwind, a beer garden will be available, along with an abundance of food trucks and festival food options to satisfy any cravings.

The festival caters to attendees of all ages, offering activities such as sand art, face painting, and balloon artistry for the younger generation.

Located in the park’s Special Events Meadow, admission to the festival is free with paid parking. A one-day permit costs $20, while an unlimited annual parking pass is available for $40.

The festival dates and hours are as follows:

– Thursday, September 7: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
– Friday, September 8: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
– Saturday, September 9: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
