Pilgrims attending the upcoming Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, are set to benefit from a round-the-clock bus service. The service provides seamless transportation to make it easier for pilgrims to move around the holy city. The Pakistani mission expects to increase the number of buses to 360 following the arrival of all intending Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah for the Hajj, which is set to commence on June 26.

The bus stops are strategically placed at various locations surrounding Haram Sharif, including Ajyad, Ghaza, Jorwal, and Kudai. Guides have also been appointed to provide instructions on both internal and external routes of Haram Sharif.

Director Moavineen e Hujjaj Sajjad Haider Yaldram said that in Masquota, buses are organized sector-wise and labeled for easy identification of intending pilgrims, making the arrangements more orderly for efficient pick-up. He commended Moavineen’s exceptional services in assisting and supporting the pilgrims.

The Director of Hajj Makkah, Faheem Khan Afridi, added that comprehensive transportation guidelines have been issued at each building. Additional buses have been deployed in Masquota to meet the transportation needs of all pilgrims, ensuring their adequate accommodation and smooth journey.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Muhammad Umer Butt, told APP that designated pick-up times have already been communicated to pilgrims in each building. For the pilgrims residing in sectors 2, 5, 6, and 7, the pick-up point is the bus stop near the entry, exit point of Haram Sharif known as Bab e Abdul Aziz. Similarly, for residents of sector 4, buses are picking up from either Bab e Salam or the gates of Safa and Marva. For sector 8 residents, buses are picking up from the gate of Haram Sharif known as Bab e Abdul Aziz.

This new round-the-clock bus service will make transportation more convenient for pilgrims attending the Hajj in Makkah. With well-placed bus stops and designated pick-up times, pilgrims can expect a more streamlined experience during their trip to the holy city.
