The 2024 Golden Globes is set to kick off with an official digital pre-show hosted by ET and Variety. Fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Hollywood’s biggest stars as they grace the red carpet. The pre-show, which will be streaming on various platforms, will include interviews with the nominees and their arrivals on the carpet.

Variety and Entertainment Tonight are teaming up with the Golden Globes to bring the red carpet experience to viewers everywhere. Starting at 6:30 p.m. ET, fans can tune in to Variety.com, ETonline.com, the Golden Globes website, and 20 other websites in the PMC portfolio to catch all the action.

The pre-show will be hosted by Variety’s Marc Malkin and Angelique Jackson, along with ET correspondent Rachel Smith. These seasoned journalists will be on hand to interview the biggest stars attending the event. Viewers can expect to see the arrivals of their favorite celebrities and engage in conversations with the Golden Globe nominees and Variety editors.

Following the pre-show, the prestigious awards ceremony will commence at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. Comedian Jo Koy has been selected as the host for the evening. While there have been some notable snubs for the 2024 Golden Globes, there are still numerous actors, shows, and movies nominated, with some receiving multiple nods. It promises to be an eventful night filled with surprises, disappointments, and more.

This year, the Golden Globes will be making a new home on CBS and Paramount+. Previously, the ceremony aired on NBC since 1996. However, the Golden Globes did have a brief stint on CBS in 1991 and 1992. With the live broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+, it is anticipated that more viewers will tune in, especially with the return of the show to Sunday night.

Don’t miss the official Golden Globes digital pre-show hosted by ET and Variety on January 7th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. It promises to be an exciting event with exclusive interviews and all the glitz and glamour of the red carpet. Then, catch the main event, the 2024 Golden Globes, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+ to find out who will be taking home the prestigious awards.
