Two jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in an improvised explosive device blast in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Monday morning, according to police reports. The injured jawans are currently being airlifted to Raipur after receiving primary treatment at the district hospital. More details are awaited on the matter. This incident comes after two jawans of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) force from the 202 Battalion got injured during an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur.
