Thane: The 10th Annual ‘Vihang Sanskruti Arts Festival 2024’ commenced with great fanfare at Upvan Lake, Thane, captivating art and culture enthusiasts from Friday, January 12, to Monday, January 15, 2024. Organized by the Sanskruti Yuva Prathishtan and the Sanskruti Arts Festival Team, the event promised four days of vibrant festivities.
In a grand celebration dedicated to the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, the festival was elevated by the inauguration of the Upvan Ghat and a mesmerizing musical fountain. Spread across a 15-acre lakeside walkway, this alluring space showcased the rich history of Thane City. The inauguration ceremony, expected to draw over six lakh participants, will be graced by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, a proud Thanekar.

Additionally, folk dancers from Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Punjab added to the cultural diversity of the festival.
