Google has chosen 25 African startups for its Black Founders Fund, including two Ghanaian companies. BezoMoney and Talamus Health will receive non-dilutive cash awards, Google Cloud credits, one-on-one mentoring, and more. The fund aims to address VC funding inequality, with 72% of this year's chosen companies led or co-founded by women. Startups in Africa are thriving, and the program has led to a 21% employment increase and a 7% rise in revenue among participating firms.
