Lagos Airlifts Over 2,300 Pilgrims for Hajj to Saudi Arabia

The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has successfully airlifted over 2000 Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, with the support of the former Commissioner for Home Affairs, Anofiu Elegushi. Despite some delays in the process caused by the slow issuance of visas, Elegushi called on the embassy to expedite the process so all remaining pilgrims can receive their visas in the shortest possible time. The welfare board appreciates the pilgrims' patience and understands, urging them to stay calm during the situation as the remaining intending pilgrims are expected to receive their visas soon.
