SECI to Supply 600 MW Wind Power to GRIDCO Odisha

SECI and GRIDCO have signed an agreement to supply 600 MW of wind energy in Odisha. As a nodal agency in India for renewable energy projects, SECI will use the Inter State Transmission System to deliver the power. GRIDCO will buy the power and trade any surplus to distribution firms in the state. With the approval already given by the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission, the agreement is set to boost India's renewable energy efforts.
