Kerala's dream of providing internet access to every household has become a reality with the K-FON project launched by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The public-sector initiative aims to provide 40 lakh internet connections across the state, starting with 100 houses in each constituency. With speeds starting at 20 Mbps and higher speeds available, the project is estimated to provide 2,50,000 commercial connections in its first year. Already, over 26,000 government offices have live internet access, ensuring connectivity for all by June's end.
