National Workshop on Assessment by Education Ministry, PARAKH and States/UTs
PARAKH, an organisation aiming to create an equitable educational assessment system, recently organised a national level workshop in New Delhi to discuss examination methods, equivalence of boards and school assessment. It was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education, CBSE, NCERT, NIOS, NCVET and NCTE from across India. The workshop also addressed the need for holistic assessment and creating a unified system for certificates and grades.

The Union Ministry of Education & PARAKH organised a workshop to discuss school exams, assessment practices & board equivalences in India. The workshop was conducted with the aim of forming a unified structure & setting common curriculum, evaluation & grading systems in line with NEP. Analysis of exam results was presented too. PARAKH is working towards standardizing norms & reducing score disparities across school boards.
