The UAE and India celebrated the first year of their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The bilateral non-oil trade reached $50.5 billion, showing a 5.8% increase from the previous year, and both ministers commended the efficiency of the CEPA in promoting trade and investment. The inaugural UAE-India Joint Committee concluded, assessed the impact of the agreement, and recommended amendments to refine tariffs and quotas. The CEPA is a cornerstone of the UAE's new foreign trade agenda, and they have further concluded four CEPAs with other countries.
