Development of Villages as the Driving Force of J&K’s Progress: Lieutenant Governor
The Garkhal Border Gram Panchayat in Akhnoor is set to become a national driving force of development, according to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. He praised the District Administration for accelerating socio-economic development, including the provision of land and housing to poor families. He encouraged PRI members and locals to make the panchayat Swachh and drug-free. Sinha also launched the retrofitting of the Water Supply Scheme Garkhal and Jal Jeevan Mission works.
