Assistive Listening Systems to Improve Accessibility for People with Disabilities in Delhi Metro

DMRC plans to make metro stations more accessible for people with hearing impairments. With two assistive listening systems - the Induction Loop System and Induction Loop Counter Talkback System - set to be installed, individuals using hearing aids can now listen to announcements more clearly. These systems provide clear and noise-free signals, making communication with customer care operators seamless. With DMRC officials stating that challenging installation work requires a small window of around three non-revenue hours at night, these systems will be installed in several stations across different lines.
