Strengthening Tech and Innovation Relations between the UK and India
Lord Ahmad, UK Minister for South Asia, recently visited India to strengthen ties between both countries in the areas of science, technology, and health. He launched the ‘English Skills for Youth’ program and announced the winners of the ‘UK-India Health-Tech Boot' camp. Lord Ahmad also visited T-Hub and T-Works to boost opportunities for young people in India, particularly women. A Free Trade Agreement between the UK and India will benefit both countries by increasing trade and investment opportunities.

He is visiting various tech and cultural sites in Jodhpur, Delhi and Hyderabad and making agreements in health and education to improve UK-India relationship. A Free Trade Agreement could reach up to £36 bn by 2022.
