Make Customers’ Rights Charter Enforceable, Urges RBI Panel
India's central bank has formed a committee calling for a customer rights charter to be enforceable and extended to banking financial companies. The panel proposes various measures, including a definition of a complaint under the internal grievance mechanism, empowering the RBI Ombudsmen and setting up a common portal for complaints.
