India’s First Cannabis Medicinal Project with Canadian Collaboration Reviewed by Dr Jitendra
India's first Cannabis Research Project held a review meeting with CSIR-IIIM officials and J&K UT Science and Technology Department. The project aims to produce quality medicine for diseases such as Diabetic neuropathy, neurologias, cancer and epilepsy. Dr. Singh stressed the importance of synergy between institutions like CSUR-IIIM, IIM, IIT and AIIMS, and directed CSIR-IIIM officials to hold a workshop to address challenges in the project. This collaboration will strengthen India’s scientific research and boost investment in Jammu and Kashmir.
