Former Church Member Found Guilty of Molesting Men in Western Australia
A former member of a Christian church group in Western Australia has been convicted of sexually assaulting several young men. Morris Leonard Deale, who was taught that homosexuality was against God’s law, was found guilty of unlawful and indecent assault of seven individuals aged between 17 and 23 years old. The verdict was delivered on Tuesday, November 7, following a three-week trial at the Western Australia District Court.
According to reports, Deale would target his victims by inviting them to drink with him until they fell asleep, at which point he would sexually assault them.
