Former Beauty Queen’s Disappearance Linked to Cop’s Affair
New details have emerged in the case of the missing beauty queen, Catherine Camilon, shedding light on a possible motive behind her disappearance. Evidence gathered by the Philippine police suggests that Camilon may have been involved in an affair with Police Major Allan De Castro, a cop who is now facing charges of kidnapping and illegal detention.
According to testimonies revealed by investigators, Camilon and De Castro were reportedly in a relationship. Screenshots of messages between the two also indicated that the beauty queen may have suffered physical abuse. In addition, it is believed that Camilon had informed De Castro’s wife about their affair, which seemingly angered the cop.
Col Jacinto Malinao of the Philippine National Police (PNP) stated in a radio interview, Based on the exchange of messages with Catherine and the cop, it can be read that the beauty queen had been physically hurt once.
